Killing Zone Lyrics

Drop bombs, You're gonna be warned
You're gonna be scorned, You're gonna be torn
There's a storm hittin' your home, not a false alarm but a real one
Can't trick it, let's wake up, can't stick it, pick it lines striking
If you like it, don't fight it, just hold it, then want itHead straight to the killing zone, Now the war's on
Head straight to the killing zone, now the war's on, holes in the ozone, we're all gone
Head straight to the killing zone, Now the war's on
Head straight to the killing zone, now the war's on, holes in the ozone, we're all goneAll the nights of constant run, if you're the one, well now you're bombed
Sail on, Mr. Dumb One, you got a shot gun, hit the marksmen
Complex thoughts here, he don't live here, keep the war there, just to control there
Without a care here, you should just see there
Start a war there, cross the boardersHead straight to the killing zone, Now the war's on
Head straight to the killing zone, now the war's on, holes in the ozone, we're all gone
Head straight to the killing zone, Now the war's on
Head straight to the killing zone, now the war's on, holes in the ozone, we're all gone

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Brendan Stieneckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

To date, Rancid has released seven studio albums, one split album, one compilation, two extended plays, and a series of live online-only albums, and has been featured on a number of compilation albums. The band has independently sold over four million records worldwide,[4] making it one of the most successful independent punk groups of all time. The band rose to fame in 1994 with its second studio album, Let's Go, featuring the single "Salvation". In the following year, Rancid released its highly successful album ...And Out Come the Wolves, which produced its best-known songs "Roots Radicals", "Ruby Soho" and "Time Bomb", and was certified gold and platinum by the RIAA, selling over one million copies in the United States alone. Its next four albums, Life Won't Wait, Rancid, Indestructible and Let the Dominoes Fall, were also critically acclaimed, though not as successful as ...And Out Come the Wolves. Rancid is currently working on an eighth studio album, which is said to be recorded in September 2011, and expected to be released in 2012.
