King rocker Lyrics

Jailhouse Rocker roots training down in Memphis
Well, Liverpool Johnny rocks out round Paul's place
Seconds away as the rhythm comes down
Well, King faces King in the ring for the crownKing Rocker, King Rocker
Rock, rock, rock
King Kong, King KongElvis from the body shakes from the hipbone
Quarry St. kids in leather take Hamburg
Creole was sharp but his guitar was acoustic
Go Johnny go use your electricCrazy man crazyKing Rocker, King Rocker
Rock, rock, rock
King Kong, King KongKing Rocker, King Rocker
Rock, rock, rock
King KongRound three, Ali buzzin' like a bee
Elvis in the corner and you won't catch me
Round four, one more now, Johnny lookin' poor
Gotta find a hit gotta even up the scoreRound five, some jive, Elvis took a dive
Waitin' for the towel more dead than alive
Round six, seven, eight, nineRef stops the fight with the men on forty two

For a rematch in heaven if they ever come through
Well, see this fight right through till the last round
Well, follow the man who's puttin' out the boss soundKing Rocker, King Rocker
Rock, rock, rock
King Kong, King Kong
King Kong, King KongKing Rocker, King Rocker
Rock, rock, rock
King Kong, King Kong
King Kong, King Kong

Adelaide Hall (20 October 1901–7 November 1993) was an American-born British jazz singer and entertainer. In 1921, an unheralded teenager named Adelaide Hall appeared as just another hoofer in the chorus line for the musical Shuffle Along. A scant seven years later, her role in the Broadway revue Blackbirds of 1928 (the most famous of the series of Blackbirds revues mounted during the 1920s and 30s) brought her international fame.
