Kingdom & Glory Lyrics

It feels like I'm water
What do you mean son?
It feels like I'm crying flesh
It looks like tears have dropped on Messiah
And all of the flood can fit into your screenIt must be the soil I was using
To stop ghosts from feeding my brain,
Lost in the woods where my generation grows
And where they write[Chorus]
That every kid owns every house
Well it's gonna be different now that
I'm gone And the tilted bodyguards took your wife and your dog
Life is better now when you
Own every tree on every yard
Well it's gonna be different now that I'm gone
To shot some aliens for kingdom and glory
For welfare and for life itselfTake me away son; wash all the years' son
Away with the tears of my youth
Today I'm sober today I'm clean

Today I feel like I'm stuck in betweenIt must be the soil I was using
To stop ghosts from feeding my brain,
Lost in the woods where my generation grows
And where they write[Chorus]That every kid owns every houseBirthdays are your days
The first days of your days
We're gonna be having some fun[Chorus]That every kid owns every houseâ?¦

Mando Diao are a rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. According to the band, the name Mando Diao has no meaning at all, but rather appeared to band member Björn Dixgård in a dream. Their sound is influenced by The Animals and Oasis. The roots of Mando Diao date back to 1995 when Björn Dixgård was a member of a band called Butler. Band members came and went; four years later, the remaining line-up chose to proceed more seriously in their musical efforts. Björn Dixgård and Gustaf Norén locked themselves up in a summer house and spent six months writing songs.
