Kismet Lyrics

In my own used heart, I fear you!
In my own trodden body, I hate you!
In my own reality, I pray to you!
In my own insanity, I am you!
So, I watch this ring of fire in my hand
Now I see their hope and beliefs decree the End
Who’ll be the next messiah?
Use your neck to hold the albatross
I feel the lashes as you carry the cross
The expensive, magnetic impact of self-destruction
Bring out the vengeance, my own liberation.
So, I watch this ring of fire in my hand
Now I see their hope fade away
With my blooded eyes I ask for more time

I ‘m now your bane as you set up your crime
Offensive, frenetic, I planned my own abduction
Tell all rejected to join my rebellion.
So, I watch this ring of fire in my hand
Now I see their hope fade away
Bring me out and set me free!
"Wherever you are, death will find you, even if you are in towers built up strong and high! (…) So what is wrong with these people that fail to understand these simple words?" (…) Fight and Kill!!!(…)”
So, I watch this ring of fire in my hand
Now I see their hope and beliefs decree the End!
Who’ll be the next messiah?
Bring me out and set me free!
Out!

Vaiko Eplik (b. 1981) is an Estonian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his works in the domains of pop-rock as well as experimental rock.

A diverse variety of influences includes artists and composers from Beach Boys to Stevie Wonder and J.S. Bach to Frank Zappa.

Vaiko became well known at quite a young age in the mid-late-90s when living a rock 'n roll dream in a brit-pop laden outfit called Claire's Birthday. In 2003 the latter was renamed as Ruffus, which - after a nation-wide televote and popular request - attended and provided a quality-check to the Eurovision song contest with Eighties Coming Back.

After disbanding Ruffus, having fun with fellow musicians under the names Koer and Vaiko Eplik ja Eliit and turning down an offer from Universal Music to become their songwriter, Vaiko has steadily focused his efforts on solo work. He's recording at his parents' house and releasing under his own label, Mortimer Snerd.
