L.A. In the Sunshine Lyrics

L.A. in the sunshine
Or it's Denver and we're snow blind
All the palm trees on the skyline
It's a good day, it's a good timeGetting into all that I have seen
Getting off on everywhere I've been
What a shame down on the jet street
That we fell for the old countryNot impressed, man, we got ripped off
When we need next, they'll see the next star
I don't know how, I've made it this far
It seems like years, I've lost track of timeWhat can I say, when you smile
And say "Can we make it?
Or you'll fake it
What you say now, can we make it?"Getting into all that I have seen
Getting off on everywhere I've been
Now I'm playin' ping pong, on a pub flight
Drinkin' champagne 'til after midnightOh, we flew high on a sweet dream
Happy landings, baby, where have you been?
I've been getting into all that I have seen

Getting off on everywhere I've beenBack to L.A. in the sunshine
After Denver when we got snow blind
All the palm trees on the skyline
She said, "Have a good day
Make sure you'll have a good time"
