POL are German composers Marcus Schmickler, Carsten Schulz and Christoph Kahse. They have released 2 albums: Transomuba (1994), where they mix field recordings, world- and techno music and even some metal bits; a soundtrack to the film Baby I Will Make You Sweat (1995) by Birgit Hein. 2. Electronic music producer since 1991, POL produces a music strongly inspired by EBM from the 80’s and ELECTRO from nowadays, he calls it "neo-industrial".
