La Guagua - Opalo

Opalo is a Bachata band composed of 4 members: Alex, Edward, Ricky and Yeudy. All of the four members are from the Dominican Republic, so their music style, even though it is the new urban Bachata, are deeply set into their Dominican style roots.
Opalo maintains the high pitch guitar sound used commonly in the Dominican style Bachata on their music. However they have added strong base lines and hip-hop tunes into their music which softens their music to give listeners a truly enjoyable experience. Their second album “Tiempo de relevo” is a true interpretation of this. Their single “Amor Sincero” is a fast pace song with a positive beat. This is a song that could be use for choreography because of the several music breaks and changes. The second single “Si no the vuelvo a ver” is another fast pace Bachata with a catchy melody.
