Lamentation Lyrics

Show me some mercy
Show that you care
Show you've got something to spareWe heard that you're rollin' on gold
We heard that you can't get old
We believe almost anything we are toldWe believe in what the prophesy says
Those billions of souls on the edge
I'm only interested in one of themDon't take my lamentation
Don't take my lamentation
Don't take my lamentation
Don't take my lamentation
Don'tDon't tell me that I've got to settle down
And don't tell me what goes around comes around, no
Don't make no promises that can't be bound
Don't make no promises that can't be boundShow me some mercy
Show that you care
Show you've got something to spare
