There are two artists or groups called Sandro. 1) Sandro (born Roberto Sánchez, Buenos Aires, 19 August 1945 - Mendoza, 4 January 2010) was a notorious pop singer-songwriter and occasional actor and film director from Argentina. He is very often cited as one of the first artists from Argentina to incorporate rock music and he was also the first Latin American to perform in Madison Square Garden.
