Last Call for Alcohol Lyrics

(Chorus)
Last call for alcohol
I'm finally through with you(Verse)
It's too late to go home early
And the crowd is thin and fast
I swear to God the next drink I take
It's gonna be my last(Verse 2)
I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired
Still not over you
I've gotta find me a better chaser
To chase away these blues(Chorus)
Last call for alcohol
I'm finally through with you
My hung head tung bed good for nothing
A little ? might saw through
Tryna drink you out of my mind
Was more than I could do
Last call for alcohol

I'm finally through with you(Verse 3)
They say I can keep on drinking
I just can't do it here
But I drunk myself from sober
To a-crying in my bed(Verse 4)
Is it a lover or a liver
I really need the most?
I'm tired of thinking with the wrong head
This will be my final toast(Chorus)
Last call for alcohol
I'm finally through with you
My hung head tung bed good for nothing
A little ? might saw through
Tryna drink you out of my mind
Was more than I could do
Last call for alcohol
I'm finally through with you

Billy Joe Shaver is an American country music singer/songwriter. He was born August 16, 1939 in Corsicana, Texas. Shaver's 1973 album Old Five and Dimers Like Me is a classic in the outlaw country genre. Shaver was raised by his mother, Victory Watson Shaver, after his father Virgil left the family before he was born. Until he was 12, he spent a great deal of time with his grandmother in Waco, Texas so that his mother could work. He sometimes accompanied his mother to her job at a local nightclub, where he began to be exposed to country music.[1]
