Last Day On Earth Lyrics

Once again you know my little world is caving in
I can't struggle anymore my love I know our time is over
I'm crawling and I'm clinging with no arms again
I face you in my sin
I pray you let me inIf it's the last day on earth
It doesn't matter what I say to you anymore
I won't see any face but yours
Before I slip awaySo I'm cutting out my eyes and feeling faded now
Life may fail me love will leave me but I still have faith in something
The something that keeps clutching tight through empty hours
Oh here I go again oh here I go againIf it's the last day on earth
It doesn't matter what I say to you anymore
I won't see any face but yours
Before I slip awayI belong right here with you
And won't you die to make me happy
Won't you drink me dry so I can slip awayIf it's the last day on earth
It doesn't matter what I say to you anymore
I told the truth for what it's worth

singer-songwriter Charlotte Martin got her start singing opera while attending Eastern Illinois University in the late '90s. Her father was a respected professor in the music department, and naturally Martin followed his footsteps. She'd been playing piano since she was a little girl and her childhood was surrounded by music. While attending school, Martin experienced "real life," from living with her goth roommate and dealing with typical college-like drama to the tragic suicides of two close friends.
