Last Days of Summer Lyrics

The bright light beams
From her eyes like broken glass
Or a broken heart, who would have guessed
Youd leave me hereBeneath my eyes I feel the tears
I hold back
I wont leave, leave this way again
I wont leave this wayAs my legs they start to shake
I feel nothing
I wanted you, I needed you
But you werent there for me this time[Incomprehensible]I wont leave, leave this way again
I wont leave this wayYou that I loved, that I needed
You werent there, not this time youWhat can I do? I was supposed to love you
What can I say? I wont leave
What can I do? I was supposed to help you
I cannot feel youLast breath I feel, warm air intake
Last summers day, last one I takeI wont leave this way, no
I wont leave
Lost it all, all for you

I wont leaveWhen the shadows beam
Misery remains
I wont leave this time

Silverstein is a 5-piece rock band from Burlington, Ontario, Canada; formed in 2000. The band name was taken from the famous children's author Shel Silverstein. After several lineup changes, the band acquired Billy Hamilton, a local fan who learned of the band's need for a bassist on the Internet message board "The 905 Board" (an Ontario area outreach board which used to be for local musicians). In Christmas of 2001, he joined the band after Shane Told helped him learn the music for the songs. Following a rehearsal on Boxing Day (December 26) in 2001, he officially debuted with Silverstein.
