Last Exit to Brooklyn Lyrics

Brooklyn, Brooklyn
Party up, party up, Brooklyn
Party up, party up, babyI cannot sleep the night is young
I cannot eat I want some fun
I pick you up Route 66
Life gives me the kickI cannot live I love this life
I cannot die, can I survive?
I cannot breathe without your love
I can't get enoughIt's the last exit to Brooklyn
New York City, oh is waiting
He's a New York boy, he's a party guy
Baby, let's dance and have some joyWest Coast, East Side, that is the place where
New York, L.A., I want to live there
New York City boy, L.A. party girl
Baby, let's dance in a brand new world4 6 0 1 East Avenue
Why does my heart beats just for you?
I cannot give you more I'll give
Baby, please forgiveI cannot tell you thousand lies

I have the love right in my eyes
The night is young I want your heart
Baby, can we start? It's the last exit to Brooklyn
New York City, oh is waiting
He's a New York boy, he's a party guy
Baby, let's dance and have some joyWest Coast, East Side that is the place where
New York, L.A., I wanna live there
New York City boy, L.A. party girl
Baby, let's dance in a brand new worldParty up, party up, party up, baby
Party up, party up, baby
Party up, party up, party up, baby
Party up, party up, babyIt's the last exit to Brooklyn
New York City, oh is waiting
He's a New York boy, he's a party guy
Baby, let's dance and have some joyWest Coast, East Side that is the place where
New York, L.A., I wanna live there
New York City boy, L.A. party girl
Baby, let's dance in a brand new worldIt's the last exit to Brooklyn

Modern Talking was a German pop music duo consisting of composer/producer/background singer Dieter Bohlen and singer Thomas Anders. It was the single most successful pop group in Germany (by sales). First formed at the end of 1984 (Anders was 21), they unexpectedly became immensely popular with their standalone disco hit "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", which was then followed by "You Can Win If You Want" and "Cheri, Cheri Lady".
