Last Girl On Earth Lyrics

Baby has a broken heart
She can’t belong to only one
Until another girl is found
I don’t pay for anything
My cigarettes or diamond rings
My feet don’t even touch the ground
Chariots of gold
I ride with Jay-Z, Jared Leto
I’m a super power, now they call me the tornado
I’ve got roses in my hair, I belly dance and do the tango
Sometimes I get lonely, everybody told me no
No one lives forever,
But that’s no reason to give up
Don’t you wanna fall in love?
No such thing as heaven
And I’m the last girl on Earth
So, baby, let’s get it on
Cleopatra used to rule

But she got nothing on me now
‘Cause I’m the last girl on Earth.
I turn the television on
They only play my favorite song
Sometimes the life is great on Earth
Chariots of gold,
I sit, sipping cherry cola
Caesar say he’d fall in love with me if I was older.
I hold all the Mexico and I got my own roller coaster
Sometimes I get lonely, millions can’t hold me now
No one lives forever
But that’s no reason to give up
Don’t you wanna fall in love?
No such thing as heaven
And I’m the last girl on Earth
So, baby, let’s get it on
I stay up late at night, tryin' not to think about it
Pretend I'm happy, willing all the word without love
I get so tired being on this place somehow
Sometimes I get lonely, but millions are lonely now
No one lives forever
But that’s no reason to give up
Don’t you wanna fall in love?
No such thing as heaven
And I’m the last girl on Earth
So, baby, let’s get it on
No such thing as heaven
And I’m the last girl on Earth
So baby, let’s get it on

Elizabeth "Lizzy" Grant (born 21 June 1986), better known as Lana Del Rey, is a singer-songwriter from Lake Placid, New York, United States. Del Rey is known for embellishing her songs and music videos with an eerily nostalgic vibe heavy on Americana themes, including images of surfing, Coney Island, Frank Sinatra, and Marilyn Monroe. She has also listed a large number of her artistic influences, including Allen Ginsberg, Elvis Presley, Britney Spears, Nina Simone, Nirvana, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, The Beach Boys, Antony and the Johnsons, actor and filmmaker John Waters, artists Mark Ryden and Marilyn Minter, and photographers Juergen Teller and Philip-Lorca diCorcia.

Grant released her first professionally produced body of work in 2010, an EP entitled Kill Kill, as Lizzy Grant via Five Points Records with producer David Kahne. It was available for purchase on iTunes for a brief period before being withdrawn for unknown reasons. Soon after, Del Rey released a self-titled collection of songs, Lana Del Rey, for electronic download.

In June 2011, Del Rey was signed with Stranger Records and issued the “Video Games” single, and in October 2011 she signed with Interscope Records. Her next album, Born to Die, is set to be released worldwide on 31 January 2012 under Interscope. The second single and title track, "Born to Die," is set for release on 22 January 2012.
