Last Man Alive Lyrics

Look out
And the ship that you sailed now has gone
Without you, has left you all alone
And you just stood and watchedLook out for the last man alive
Don't you wonder how he has lived so long
Look out for the last man alive
Don't you wonder how he has lived so long, so longAs the ice around you starts to melt
Just don't panic 'cause I'm holding your life belt
Or I'll just stand and watch
Yes, I'll just stand and watchLook out for the last man alive
Don't you wonder how he has lived so long
Look out for the last man alive
Don't you wonder how he has lived so long, so longYou were never meant to be
When you first put out to seaLook out for the last man alive
Don't you wonder how he has lived so long
Look out for the last man alive
Don't you wonder how he has lived so long, so longLook out for the last man alive
Don't you wonder how he has lived so long

Look out for the last man alive
Don't you wonder how he has lived so long, it's goodbye
So long, it's goodbye

The Levellers are a popular English rock band influenced by punk and traditional English music. They are based in Brighton, England where they were founded in 1988. There are several stories regarding how they got their name; from the Levellers, a radically democratic faction of Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army; as a reference to "The Level", a flat open space near where members of the band used to live in Brighton; or simply, according to guitarist, Simon Friend, a word they chose from a dictionary.
