Last Time Lyrics

Met you and the days were ours
We've been handed all the moons and stars
And told, "go forth; your future's north
And your own breath will take you far."Well some of that tale was soul
And some of it we would outgrow
But side by side we rolled that ride
With each other always in towAnd everyone will always know you are a heart of mine
Between forever and one day there is the finest line
And I wanted to show you all the things I hid
I was just a kid and I never didSo now an ancient era ends
A few moments left for us to spend
You're just not quite still mine outright
And we will never be here againBut everyone will always know you are a heart of mine
Between forever and one day there is the finest line
And I wanted to show you all the things I hid
I was just a kid and I never didSo one last chance to sing
We're changing on a prayer, a wing
Not graceful or true, just me and you

There's a last time for everythingThere's a last time
There's a last time
There's a last time
There's a last time for everything
