Lay Down Lyrics

I'll be there in the mornin'
When you can see some light
I'll be just like your angel
I'll be your guidin' lightGonna wake you up and connect your dots
And make it all seem worthwhile
I'll be there just for you girl
I'm gonna make you smileMust be love
What are we thinkin' of?
Must be love
Just because
YeahOh
I'm gonna catch a fast train
I'll be there overnight
You can meet me at the station
And give me a kiss, tell me it's alrightBeen countin' every moment
I'm walkin' in my sleep
I'm gonna stir you up real deep girl
Stir you up for keepsIt must be love

What are we thinkin' of?
Must be love
Just becauseLay down your love for me
Why don't you
Lay down your love?
Baby, lay down your loveI get a good connection
Right through your fingertips
Every time you look me in the eye
I swear I go on a tripI've been around the world so many times
And you're such a lovely thing
I don't wanna lose this good thing that we got
You know you make my heart singIt must be love
What are you thinkin' of?
Must be love
Just becauseLay down your love to me
Why don't you lay down your love?
That's right
Baby, lay down your love
Lay downThis time
What do we want to say?
In you
I won't stand in your wayLay down your love for me
(Ooh)
Why don't you lay down your love?
Because I need you
Lay down for me
Why don't you lay down your love? This must be love
Baby, what you're thinkin' of?Baby
Lay down your love
I'll be there in the mornin'
Lay down your love
Lay, lay, lay, lay, lay
Lay, lay, lay, lay, lay
Baby, lay down your love
Lay down your love
Baby, lay down your love
Down your love
Down your love

Bad English was an American rock band formed by 3 ex-members of the band The Babys, Jonathan Cain, John Waite and Ricky Phillips (now in Styx) along with Journey guitarist Neal Schon. The band's first, self titled album released in 1988, gave the band two hit singles in the United States, "When I See You Smile" and "Price of Love". However, on their second album, entitled "Backlash", the one and only single failed to enter the U.S. Top 40, peaking at number 42.
