Lay It Down Lyrics

Ive been looking till my eyes are tired of looking
Listening till my ears are numb from listening
Praying till my knees are sore from kneeling
On the bedroom floorI know that You know that my heart is aching
Im running out of tears and my will is breaking
I dont think that I can carry the burden of it anymoreAll of my hopes and my dreams and my best laid plans
Are slowly slipping through my folded handsSo Im gonna lay it down, Im gonna learn to trust You now
What else can I do everything I am depends on You
And if the sun dont come back up, I know Your love will be enough
Im gonna let it be, Im gonna let it go, Im gonna lay it downIve been walking through this world like Im barely living
Buried in the doubt of this hole Ive been digging
But Youre pulling me out and Im finally breathing
In the open airThis room may be dark but Im finally seeing
Theres a new ray of hope and now Im believing
That the past is the past and the futures beginning
To look brighter now'Cause all of my hopes and my dreams and my best laid plans
Are safe and secure when I place them in Your handsSo Im gonna lay it down, Im gonna learn to trust You now
What else can I do everything I am depends on You

And if the sun dont come back up, Your love, Your love will be enough
Im gonna let it be, Im gonna let it go, Im gonna lay it down
Im gonna lay it down, Im gonna lay it down
