Lay My Burden Down Lyrics

I, I work [Incomprehensible] fingers to the bone
And you know
I'm slipping down so lowGetting down on my knees
Yeah, praying for release
Lord, won't you help meI, I work [Incomprehensible] fingers to the bone
And you know
I'm slipping down so low, so low, so lowAnd I feel the weight dragging down on me
There's redemption coming that I seek
I can't close my eyes, close my eyes to see
This is what it means to bleedFor what you love
So let me bleedI, I work [Incomprehensible] fingers to the bone
And you know
I'm slipping down so lowGetting down on my knees
Yeah, praying for release
Lord, won't you help meI, I work [Incomprehensible] fingers to the bone
And you know
I'm slipping down so low, so low, so lowAnd I feel the weight dragging down on me
There's redemption coming that I seek

I can't close my eyes, close my eyes to see
This is what it means to bleedFor what you love
So let me bleedSo I lay my burden down
This is what it means to bleed, yeah
So I lay my burden down
This is what it means to bleedSo I lay my burden down
This is what it means to bleed, yeah
Oh Lord, won't you help me
Lay my burden downAlright, yeah
Lay my burden down

2002-2009 Seemless were a stoner rock band formed by ex-Shadows Fall drummer Derek Kerswill, ex-Killswitch Engage vocalist Jesse Leach, ex-Overcast guitarist Pete Cortese, and ex-Medium bassist Jeff Fultz. Hailing from Massachusetts, Seemless is one of the few non-metalcore acts to come out of that area and make a mark on the hard rock scene. Formed in 2002 following Leach's departure from Killswitch Engage, Seemless was signed to Equal Vision Records, and released their first self-titled LP 2003.
