Lead Us to War Lyrics

Lead us to war... ...war!
return home because war's where the heart is
lead us to war... ...war!
a procession fallen into submissionBlack skies surround everyday
there's no sign of the light that once embraced us
time is our enemy now
shackles of death hold us down
without warning it carries us far away
dig deeper into this hole
falling faster and leaving ourselves to blame
use the anger inside to keep us warmA violent struggle to break free
we've had enough, so let us be
soon there will be some hell to pay
we want to see the light of day
Lead us to war... ...war!lead us to war... ...war!
return home because war's where the heart is
a procession fallen into submissionwe lay lifeless allowing it to grasp us
Dementia slowly sets in

eating away at our souls
the end approaching so near
one by one, growing weaker every moment
now at last we seek comfort
in our madness
the night encompassed by silence
we have sunk to the bottom
of this nightmare!A violent struggle to break free
soon there will be some hell to pay
we've had enough, so let us bewe want to see the light of day
Lead us to war... ...war!
return home because war's where the heart is
a procession fallen into submission lead us to war... ...war!

Sinergy were a power metal band from Finland (1997 — 2005). The initial idea of assembling Sinergy originated when the then Dimmu Borgir keyboard player Kimberly Goss met with In Flames guitarist Jesper Strömblad during a joint world tour. They discussed the idea of assembling a female-fronted metal band, but due to time constraints were unable to take the idea much further. When Kimberly quit Dimmu Borgir and moved to Sweden, she decided that it was time to turn her project with Strömblad into a reality.
