Leaning On What Love Can Do Lyrics

Those lonely eyes they stare at me in silence
I don't know what to do
So much hurt, so much arched back defiance
It's gonna break something soon
No one loves the way you love
Love could suffocate from the weight, bearing down on usIf I could just reach inside you
Hold and hide you, I would, oh, baby I would
If I could just know what's broken
With one word spoken, I would, do whatever it took
Words are never enough, that much is true
So I'm leaning on what love can doLean on me whenever you need to
Let all those tears rain down
I believe that love can see this thing through
Even if we can't see how
No one feels the pain you feel
All I know is love can heal what nothing else can healIf I could just reach inside you
Hold and hide you, I would, oh, baby I would
If I could just know what's broken

With one word spoken, I would, do whatever it took
Words are never enough, that much is true
So I'm leaning on what love can doLeaning on that mystery is holdin' me and you
Baby, that's all I can do
Leaning on what love can doWords are never enough, that much is true
So I'm leaning on, I'm leaning on what love can doOh baby, I'm leaning on what love can do
Oh baby, I'm leaning on what love can do
Oh baby, I'm leaning on, I'm leaning on and, yeah
Oh baby, I'm leaning on what love can do
Baby, I'm leaning on, I'm leaning on, I'm leaning on what love can do
