Leavin' and Sayin' Goodbye Lyrics

So many times I've told you I was leavin'
And so many times how I tried
But sayin' you're leavin' is so much easier
Than leavin' and sayin' goodbye'Cause every time I'd start to go
I wouldn't get ten feet
Till I come runnin' back like a runaway child
Who's afraid to cross the streetMy mind might tell my lips to say it's over
But my heart would only say it's a lie
'Cause sayin' you're leavin' is so much easier
Than leavin' and sayin' goodbye'Cause every time I'd start to go
I wouldn't get ten feet
Till I come runnin' back like a runaway child
Who's afraid to cross the streetMy mind might tell my lips to say it's over
But my heart would only say it's a lie
'Cause sayin' you're leavin' is so much easier
Than leavin' and sayin' goodbye
Than leavin' and sayin' goodbye
