Leftwatch Lyrics

Seething away,
and twice removed, away.
A pocket watch I never see.
Wanting everything, for me
to stop moving..
I've smashed at the lines
and battered the wires
and scattered the eyes
Mad at the distance.
I'm leaving the circle,
I've lost my alone.
I remember you, how we smiled.
From exploding winter trees
to lengthwise rain and flowers.

Oh, how we smiled.
Waiting for everything
I never see
A pocket watch
A memory
For me to stop moving.
Waiting for everything
I never see
A pocket watch
A memory.

Submarine Fleet is a 5 piece band consisting of electric guitars (6 string, baritone, and bass), drums, and vocals. The 5 members combine dreamy high frequency shimmer, deep range melodiousness, and hypnotic rhythms to set the stage for passionate male vocal works with surrealist leanings. Submarine Fleet has often been compared to the likes of 1980's 4AD label artists such as Cocteau Twins (primarily with respect to their heavily layered guitar work).
