Let It Rock (Rock and Roll on the Radio) Lyrics

Simmonds/Raymond-Chrysalis Music Ltd.
Rock and Roll on the radio
Hear it every place I go
Stick McGhee singing Spo-Dee-O
Let it rock to your very soulWell the Jacquet on the saxophone
Plays it like you never heard before
Can't you feel him getting so high
Let it rock to your very soulWell Let It Rock to your very soul
Rock to your very soul
Hear it on the radio
Rock to your very soul
Well let it rockEverybody knows they got to move
When they hear that funky rhythm move
When there's nothing left for you to do
Let it rock to your very soul

Savoy Brown is a British blues band formed in the 1960s, originally known as the Saveloy Brown Blues Band. Their 1969 single, Train to Nowhere (with singer Chris Youlden), was viewed by many as the last gasp of the blues scene in Great Britain. Although Savoy Brown never reached much acclaim in their home nation, they developed a loyal core following in the United States. In the 1960s and 1970s, the band managed to penetrate the Billboard Hot 100.
