SS501 (Hangul: 더블에스오공일, pronounced as Double-S 501) is a popular South Korean boyband under management of DSP Media. The group consists of five members: Kim Hyunjoong (김현중), Heo Youngsaeng (허영생), Kim Kyujong (김규종), Park Jungmin (박정민) and Kim Hyungjun (김형준). They have made their mark all across Asia, specifically enjoying high popularity in Japan and their homeland. They debuted in June 2005 with their first single "경고 (Warning)", recieving a lot of positive feedback even before its release.
