Let Me Entertain You (Live at Knebworth) Lyrics

Hell is gone and Heaven's here
There's nothing left for you to fear
Shake your arse come over here now scream
I'm a burning effigy of everything I used to be
You're my rock of empathy, my dearSo come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain youLife's too short for you to die
So grab yourself an alibi
Heaven knows your mother lied, mon cher
Separate your right from wrongs
Come and sing a different song
The kettle's on so don't be long, mon cherSo come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain youLook me up in the yellow pages
I will be your rock of ages
Your see through fads and your crazy phases, yea
Little Bo-Peep has lost his sheep
He popped a pill and fell asleep
The dew is wet but the grass is sweet my dearYour mind gets burned
With the habits you've learned

But we're the generation that's got to be heard
You're tired of your teachers and your school's a drag
You're not going to end up like your mom and dadSo come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain youHe may be good he may be outta sight
But he can't be here so come around tonight
Here is the place where the feeling grows
You gotta get high before you taste the lows
So come onLet me entertain you
Let me entertain you
So come on let me entertain you
Let me entertain youCome on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come onCome on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come on
Come on come on come on come onLet me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you
Let me entertain you

Robert Peter Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire) is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer. While Williams' early pop career started with the hit boy band Take That, he has found far greater success since taking his leave in 1995. Williams has sold over 70 million records worldwide, which ranks him among the best-selling music artists worldwide. He is the best-selling British solo artist in the United Kingdom and the best selling non-Latino artist in Latin America.

Six of his albums are among the top 100 biggest-selling albums in the United Kingdom. He has also been honoured with seventeen BRIT Awards—more than any other artist—and seven ECHO Awards. In 2004, he was inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame after being voted as the "Greatest Artist of the 1990s."

The Candy Songfacts reports that Williams teamed up with his Take That bandmate Gary Barlow, to write the first single from his ninth studio album, Take The Crown. "Candy" will be released October 29, 2012.
