Let Me Turn Back to You Lyrics

I dont know you but I can feel you
In all the ways
You get through these days
Bluer than blueYoure throwin your dreams up
They all come fallin down
Then you turn away, its another day
And it seems youre earthly boundThere is doubt in your eyes in what you say
And what you want to do
I want to be a surprise can't you see it in my eyes
Let me turn back to you, to youOut in the light of the dark
There is always left a spark
And would it be all right, can I see you tonight?
Let me turn back to you
Oh, let me turn back to you, to youI never questioned a smile only lasting for a while
Someone must play the fool
If theres a fire in your heart then its time for us to start
Let me turn back to you, to youOut in the light of the dark
There is always left a spark

And would it be all right, can I see you tonight?
Let me turn back to you
Oh, let me turn back to you
Oh, let me turn back to you
Oh, let me turn back to youAnd take me down
Can I [Incomprehensible]

Poco, founded in 1968 by Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Richie Furay and Jim Messina (both inducted 1997 with Buffalo Springfield), was one of the earliest in the "country rock" genre that was later commercially popularized by bands such as the Eagles. The band was completed by Rusty Young (pedal steel guitar, dobro, banjo and mandolin) Randy Meisner on bass and George Grantham on drums. Poco's 1969 debut, "Pickin' Up the Pieces" (the title being a reference to the break-up of Buffalo Springfield), received some critical acclaim but generated very litttle enthusiasm commercially.
