Let You Break (feat Leigh Nash) Lyrics

To cut out the figure
The grounding of this
Let melancholic drownTo greener reminders
Of better pastures
You're beautiful and foundEmbattled walls that I have raised
To only bring you down
A fortune I would gladly trade
To swim within the soundI wish you would
I wish you wouldI will never, I will never
I will never let you break
I will never, I will never
I will never let you breakThe burn of the summer
When I first saw you
Still upon my browThe gentle refusal
The fear you flourish
Let peel away from nowThe red that I have run so long
The penchant for this flight
The memory of this overcomes

Lifting now to lightI wish you would
I wish you wouldI will never, I will never
I will never let you break
I will never, I will never
I will never let you breakI will never, I will never
I will never let you break
I will never, I will never
I will never let you break

William Fitzsimmons (born 1978) is an American singer-songwriter, based in Illinois. He is perhaps best-known for his songs "Passion Play" and "Please Don't Go", which aired during pivotal scenes in the TV medical drama Grey's Anatomy. Fitzsimmons was raised in the outskirts of the steel city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the youngest child of two blind parents. Due to the family's inability to communicate through normal visual means, Fitzsimmons' childhood home was filled with a myriad of sounds to replace what eyes could not see.
