Let's Get High Tonight Lyrics

Afroman - Let's get high tonight
Lyrics by Markus MartinssonLet's get drunk today
Let's get high tonight
Maybe in the morning
Things will be alrightI am living under
So much stress and strife
Sometimes I stop and wonder
How to enjoy my lifeHanging with my homies
Talking jive
Smoking marijuana, drinking Cult 45
Hey homeboy, let's get drunk todayLet's get drunk today
Let's get high tonight
Maybe in the morning
Things will be alrightI am living under
So much stress and strife
Sometimes I stop and wonder
How to enjoy my lifeBumping my music very loud
Limping down the sidewalk so high

Slap my brother, let's get drunk tonightLet's get drunk today
Let's get high tonight
Maybe in the morning
Things will be alrightI am living under
So much stress and strife
Sometimes I stop and wonder
How to enjoy my lifeNow I'm nice and tipsy
And I'm high-igh
Flirting with the ladies
Walking by-ie-ie
Hey pretty lady, let's hook up tonightLet's get drunk today
Let's get high tonight
Maybe in the morning
Things will be alrightI am living under
So much stress and strife
Sometimes I stop and wonder
How to enjoy my lifeBuckaa! (chicken sound :P)(Guitar solo)

Afroman (born Joseph Edgar Foreman, on 28 July 1974 in Mississippi) is a rap artist from South-Central Los Angeles, California, but later moved to eastern Palmdale (which he has referred to in his songs).

His best-known song is the 2001 hit "Because I Got High", which gained popularity through Napster, local radio play, a feature on Howard Stern's radio show, and the "stoner" movie 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' (and accompanying soundtrack). His other most popular song, "Crazy Rap", is often refered to as "Colt 45", because of its lyrics, "Colt 45 and two Zig Zags".

Afroman is also fond of referencing his independence from record labels and the "corporate world" and cites himself as an example of how an artist can take recording and distribution into their own hands.
