Let's Roc Lyrics

This is a Petey Pizzle productshizzle
Thank you, man
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, squad up
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, knock that outta there
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, squad up
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, knock that outta there
Dawg, you ain't had to worry 'bout us, we wasn't even thinkin' 'bout ya
'Til you went to flyin' out the mouth all cattacornered
Where the fuck did Petey go, one-hit wonder, hell naw
I just been out here up on this horse that I done jumped on
Enjoyin' myself a little bit 'cause I deserve it
Before Saddam and ol' Sadonna Jones supposed to
Get my ass in the Taliban bad ass it's over
Fuckin' up some more planes my taxes pay for
Let me break it down for ya, everythang 'round here
Got Carolina on it bitch, I'm in charge of it
I don't care what shwaty said, security handle that
Before we start to rearrangin' shit up here with his ass

Oh yeah, we can go there, I'm qualified for this here
And certified, downtown, ready to stir it
So before you start to, ease up a little on this here
You gone hate it when I do that right there, right there
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, squad up
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, knock that outta there
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, squad up
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, knock that outta there
Still off the chain, still in the game
I gotta hear you say it Petey Pab motherfucka
That's right baby, two scoops of raisin'
Half man and half amazin'
This time I got that purple in my haze, candy on my paint
Rocks a little larger on the side of my face
I'm the Mr.Carolina, chair board spokesman
Hail to the King, thanks for your support
If any nigga out there feel that they just wanna kill they self
To run up here and try to take what's mine, let 'em help they self
I ain't got no greaps or gripes, you choose how you lose your life
Gun bustin', knife cuttin', motherfucker fist fight me
Watch how Carolina wild out for they homeboy
Some of them don't like me but they ain't gone let you hurt me
You can bet that there on the left cheek of yo', ass
I'm the fuckin' man 'round here, sound off
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, squad up
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, knock that outta there
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, squad up
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, knock that outta there
I rep for the prisons, I rap for the block
All my nine to fivers out there workin' jobs
I rep for single parents that don't need they baby daddy
To buy them not nan pamper, show them punk bitches you can handle it
Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Hispanic
Philippine, Dime piece, the white ones and the black ones
Cherokee, Mix Breeds, over here to cross seas
If y'all don't sound off I'm leavin', sweet Jesus
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, squad up
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, knock that outta there
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, squad up
Let's roc, let's roll, squad up, knock that outta there

Moses Barrett III (born June 17, 1979 in Greenville, North Carolina), better known by his stage name Petey Pablo, is a rapper, actor and founder of CMG Records. He is best known for his hit singles Raise Up, Show Me The Money and Freek-a-Leek, and for being featured on Ciara's Billboard Hot 100 number one single Goodies. He released his debut album, Diary of a Sinner: 1st Entry, in 2001 and his sophomore effort, Still Writing in My Diary: 2nd Entry, in 2004. His highly aniticpated third album, A&R: Anticipated Recordings, is set to be released in January 2010 after a six year absence from the music scene.

Barrett left home aged 13 in 1992 and lived on the streets of Baltimore, and later Raleigh. He was originally signed to Death Row records, releasing only one track with Crooked I. His life on Death Row was short. Petey Pablo was arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina for armed robbery. He also lived in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. He spent six years in prison and on his release moved to New York City, where he met Black Rob and Busta Rhymes, and, according to legend, was signed by the A&R director of Jive Records after hearing him rapping in a club bathroom. After a few guest spots in 2000, his first solo single was "Raise Up" in 2001 at the age of 22, produced by Timbaland, followed by debut album Diary of a Sinner: 1st Entry the same year. "Raise Up" was helped by rotation on MTV and heavy play on urban radio, reaching #25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping the Hot Rap Singles Chart. Noted for its "black" rhythm section, "Raise Up" borrows from Timbaland's preference for African-American instrumentation and helicopters. The release of his second album, Still Writing in My Diary: 2nd Entry, was delayed until 2004. Lead single from the album, the sexually-explicit "Freek-a-Leek" was another major success, reaching #7 in the Hot 100, although little chart success followed. Barrett currently resides in Wake Forest, North Carolina, where he is working under his own label: Carolina Music Group, or CMG. His new album, "A&R: Anticipated Recordings" hits stores in January 2010. The highly anticipated album comes after a six year absence from the music scene. Barrett is calling the album "phenomenal." Many singles are expected to come from this new record such as "Osama," "NC Wzup" and "Fire.
