Letter Song Lyrics

Well, I have been thinkin', which I shouldn't do
'Cause it gets me in trouble and farther from you
I don't want a sentimental
Short and sweet and confidential goodbyeWell, my thoughts belong in a book in a store
Where they're silently read but spoken no more
I didn't give my all and to be honest with you
I didn't even try, yeaWell, I want you back, so bad
I'm gonna change the way I'm actin'
I'm gonna change and I'm so gladI'm gonna write you a letter, so much for the better
And if it goes my way, I'll have you runnin' back to me
While I'm a natural born forgetter, so much for the better
I can be romantic, I just got to try to be, come onWell, I have been thinkin', again this is bad
It seems that my thinkin' can drive you quite mad
But you can't say there's another word, though
To call this feelin' in my heart, oh yeaWell, I admit I take advice from more romantic minds
But I can proudly reassure you this idea was all mineI'm gonna write you a letter, so much for the better
And if it goes my way, I'll have you runnin' back to me
While I'm a natural born forgetter, so much for the better

I can be romantic, I just got to try to beWell, I admit I take advice from more romantic minds
But I can proudly reassure you this idea was all mineI'm gonna write you a letter, so much for the better
And if it goes my way, I'll have you runnin' back to me
While I'm a natural born forgetter, so much for the better
I can be romantic, I just got to try to be, try to be
Well, I can be romantic, I just got to try to be
One more time, come on
Well, I can be romantic, I just got to try to be

Mother's Green consists of guitarist / singer / songwriter March. March began writing and searching for musicians to jam with. March, down on his luck, with more than an album worth of songs and tired of waiting around, asked drummer Kevin Correia and bassist Brent Curvin if they would lay down some drums and bass to complete the record. Since then March has jammed and played shows with quit a few different musicians such as bassist Dave Buland, drummer Bruce McCarthy, drummer Jon McCan and bassist Mike Simpson.
