Letter to the Moon Lyrics

I sit alone
It's me against the night
I listen to the sounds
and the rhythm in my mind
I've tried it all
I've tried to run
Though I never ever
Could seem to move on
In my pocket was your letter
I never did write back to you
What would I say to you
So I, sent a letter to the moon,
Asking why, I feel so confused
If i'm supposed to leave you
Then tell me why I can not seem to move

I walk along sidewalks, streetlights
I'm dancing like a star on the path I must find
When it all comes undone,
I could never ever carry on
In my pocket was you letter
I never did write back to you
What would I say to you
So I sent a letter to the moon
Asking why I feel so confused,
If i'm supposed to walk away
Then tell why I can not seem to move
(Somewhere I belong,
back into your arms is where I long to stay)
If the letter never comes back to me
Then i'll know it's its with you...
Ooo-oooohhhh-oooo
Whoa whoa whoa ohhhh
Yeeeaaaaahhh
So I sent a letter to the moon
Asking why I feel so confused
If I'm supposed to leave you
Then tell me why I can not seem tomove
(I I know it's just no use)
But tonight won't you shine the night with truth
If i'm supposed to walk away
Then tell my why I can not seem to move
(I can not carry on)

HelenaMaria is comprised of identical twin sisters, Helena and Maria Mehalis, born and raised in New Jersey. They grew up in a free-spirited environment where artistic expression was always very important and highly encouraged. At the age of four, their parents discovered their interest for music. They began taking classical piano lessons and singing in their church choir. However, it wasn’t until their sophomore year in high school when they took on the guitar, and songwriting came naturally. What started out as fun became a true passion of theirs.
