Letters from a Porcupine Lyrics

Underlying
Oh, so more important here
Any kind
I know what ever shakes a thrill
Mark my face
The air is really heavy now
I pledge allegiance
So God why don't you come on over hereD I E D
Oh, that's what has happened to you
G R E E D
Well, there is nothing more to take
Pour the red wine
Watch the news, maybe ventilate
I pledge allegiance
So lady, why don't you come on over hereLetters from the porcupine
They'll stick straight through you
So read one anytime
You think you've made mistakes

Now we'll wait for later
Maybe the next in line will be
Someone who's daddy's blood
Ran out next to bush and it be him

Blind Melon is a rock band from Los Angeles, United States. They were active from 1989 to 1999, and then from 2006 onward. Best remembered for their 1993 single "No Rain", the group enjoyed critical and commercial success in the early 1990s with their neo-psychedelic take on alternative rock. The 1995 death of lead vocalist Shannon Hoon halted the band's activity, and the members went on hiatus until officially disbanding in 1999. The band reformed with new lead vocalist Travis Warren in 2006, and although Warren departed two years later, he has since resumed performing with the band.
