Letting Go Lyrics

They say what goes around comes around
What I once lost can never be found
Oh, how I held you tightly
Oh, how you stood beside meGot to know
(Got to know)
Do you think of me?
I got to know
(Got to know)
What you mean to me?
Do you think of me?Letting go is the hardest part of loving you
What can I do to make it home without you?
When you say its okay to spread your wings and fly away
Letting go is the hardest part of loving youThey say the first cut is the deepest one
All of my scars will never be gone
Oh, how I held you tightly
Oh, how you stood beside meI got to know
(Got to know)
Is it meant to be?

I got to know
(Got to know)
What do you see?
Do you think of me?Letting go is the hardest part of loving you
What can I do to make it home without you?
When you say its okay to spread your wings and fly away
Letting go is the hardest part of loving youOpen up your eyes to see the stars in the sky
They shine for you, they shine for you
Open up your eyes, see the stars in the sky
They shine for you, they shine for youLetting go is the hardest part of loving you
What can I do to make it home without you?
When you say its okay to spread your wings and fly away
Letting go is the hardest part of loving youLetting go is the hardest part of loving you
What can I do to make it home without you?

Kids in the Way is a Christian rock band from Indiana. Upon formation, Kids in the Way quickly gained attention with their post-hardcore sound, fronted by Dave Pelsue's scratchy, raw voice and honest lyrics. Kids in the Way began in 1997, and released three full-length albums prior to 2007, "Safe From the Losing Fight" and "Apparitions of Melody", and a re-release of the second album titled, "Apparitions of Melody, The Dead Letters Edition", including behind the scenes footage of the band and two new songs.
