Lexington Lyrics

Will you meet me
at the well
you're my heaven
in this, my hell
I see visions
a candle burns
Brothers fall
battles turn
and tear us apartI've suffered losses
it's hard to heal
and you're my only strength of will
oh, morning near the flag is calling
oh... find me here inside these
red word lettersTears in the reveille
dreaming of a symphony
standing at the firing line
smoke in the fields of Lexington
see you in the cannon's glow

feel you in the ground below
you will be the ocean on
smoke in the fields of LexingtonWedding vows
upon my chest
valleys burn
with blood and flesh
walking ghosts
fading starts
through thees words
you hold my heartoh, morning near the flag is calling
oh... find me here inside these
red word lettersTears in the reveille
dreaming of a symphony
standing at the firing line
smoke in the fields of Lexington
see you in the cannon's glow
feel you in the ground below
you will be the ocean on
smoke in the fields of LexingtonGive our children
my goodbye
and tell them how
if they ask why
lay one flower
upon the stone
one last kiss
to send me homeTears in the reveille
dreaming of a symphony
standing at the firing line
smoke in the fields of Lexington
see you in the cannon's glow
feel you in the ground below
you will be the ocean on
smoke in the fields of LexingtonDeathless love of mine,
I want you...

Seven-piece Texan group Alpha Rev meld classical instrumentation with rock. They were formed in 2005 by singer-songwriter Casey McPherson after the break-up of his previous band Endochine. The band also comprises Derek Dunivan (guitar), Tommy Roalson (drums), Dave Wiley (cello), Alex Dunlap (bass), Brian Lewis Batch (violin) and Derek Morris (keyboards) Frontman Casey McPherson’s gripping, emotional songwriting dares others to search out hope in the bleakest of circumstances and the unique instrumentation pays homage to the classical music that gave him his love for the art.
