Life Within A Life Lyrics

They come and they go, my woes and my joy
I know getting attached to that temporal toil is ignorant
They ebb and they flo, my frowns and my smiles
I know getting attached to that miracle mile is ignorantState of bliss, tell me are you happiness
Something's gone terrible wrong if you are other than this
Turn out the sun, all of your golden days are gone
Theres a world better than this one is your favorite songThey observe and then note the flux in your power
Your efficiency in spinning your hour to hour is significant
Deserve and then don't your bouquet of flowers
The universal candy is bitter, sweet, salty and sour
Get used to itState of bliss, tell me are you happiness
Something's gone terribly wrong if you are other than this
Go get your gun, no need in leaving the safety on
Im going higher one day is your favorite songYeah, they come sure as they go
Yeah, they come sure as they go
So they come sure as they go
Yes, they come sure as they go
Sure as they goLife within a life has ended and begun

Again my tune is sung
We sail into the sun, light and brightest night
Dark and dismal day has ended and begun
In out and in of one, we sail into the sunLife within a life has ended and begun
In out and in of one
We sail into the sunLife within a life has ended and begun
In out and in of one
We sail into the sun, light and brightest night
Dark and dismal day has ended and begun
In out and in of one, we sail into the sun

Jesca Hoop has lived all over the map, and her rich life experience is reflected in her distinctive voice and natural gift for inventive song craft. Hoop learned to sing at an early age, harmonising with her musical Mormon family in northern California. She began writing highly idiosyncratic songs at the age of 14 to keep her company on her long walks to school. At 16, Hoop broke away from her strict upbringing and began what she calls her 'life as a racoon', off the grid & close to nature.
