Life and Limb Lyrics

Push the envelope further from reality
Banishing the hope, interrogating strategies
Inhumane aggression, isolation jails
Forcing a confession when all else failsTo stand in judgement of a so-called offender
That represents immortal behaviourPush the envelope from the civilised norm
Push the envelope, catastrophic storm
Stripped of life and limb by this torture germ
Stripped of life and limb just for standing firmNaked and bound, pain and consideration
Extremely profound, grotesque cooperation
Cruelly implied, no sense of divide
Particular intensity, deception and liesTo stand in judgement of a so-called offender
That represents immortal behaviourGovernment task force questioning the source
Widespread abuse
Innocent victims of power misusePush the envelope from the civilised norm
Push the envelope, catastrophic storm
Stripped of life and limb by this torture germ
Stripped of life and limb just for standing firmPsychological intimidation
Traditional methods of interrogation

Polluting our culture, it's prolific, outright
For nothing more than specific insightA dire killing thrust
To satisfy the lust
When beaten to their death
Lingering aftermath

Napalm Death is a mince grindcore / death metal band from Birmingham, England. The band was formed in the village of Meriden near Birmingham, England in 1981 by Nicholas Bullen and Miles Ratledge. Although other groups had previously played fast and aggressive music, Napalm Death is credited with defining the Grindcore genre through its fusion of punk and metal musical structures, aggressive playing, fast tempos, and deep guttural vocals. The group coined the term 'Grind' to describe the music they played in reference to the sound of American no wave group Swans.
