Life's On The Line Lyrics

Nobody likes me
Nobody likes me but that's okay
'Cause I don't like y'all anyway
And I don't like y'all anyway
Fuck all y'all!
I let my watch talk for me, my whip talk for me
My gat talk for me, blat! Whattup homie?
Even bitches who don't know me, they wanna blow me
'Cause the shit I floss with be sayin' a lot for me
I came into rap humble, I don't give a fuck now
Serve anybody like niggaz who hustle uptown
Coke price go up, capsules come down
The D's run in my crib, I'm nowhere to be found
The bitch who hustle for me, they don't even stash crack
They keep it on 'em, right there in they ass crack
When I don't like a nigga, I don't pretend to
I'll have the paramedics wrapin' your fuckin' head like a Hindu
Look, I ain't goin' nowhere, so get used to me

OG's look at me and see what they used to be
I'm that nigga that sold coke, the nigga that sold dope
The nigga that shot Dice, went broke and sold soap
The thug that pop shit, the thug that pop clips
The thug that went from three and a half to whole bricks
Nigga ain't in his right mind, goin' against me
My picture's painted through words that make a blind man seeScream murder!
(I don't believe you!)
Murder!
(Fuck around and leave you!)
Murder!
(I don't believe you!)
Murder, murder!
(Your life's on the line!)
Y'all niggaz don't want no parts of me
I'm tryna figure out how y'all started me
If you gonna make me catch her on the late night
Pop shots with the fifth and slide off with the sixI'm not a marksmen when I'm sparkin' I spray random
Not a pretty nigga but my mom's think I'm handsome
I hate to hear, "He say, She say" shit
Unless, he say, she say, "She on my dick"
It's no coincidence, niggaz who fuck with me get shot up
I do it Cali style drive by and tear ya block up
You soft through, be puttin' up a crazy front
I stay with the Mac, 'cause niggaz tried to blaze me once
In the hood they be like, "Damn, 50 really spitted on 'em"
"You heard that shit?", "Yeah, 50 really shitted on 'em"
Beef, you don't want none, so don't start none
You just a small player in this game, play your part sonScream murder!
(I don't believe you!)
Murder!
(Fuck around and leave you!)
Murder!
(I don't believe you!)
Murder, murder!
(Your life's on the line!)These cats always escape reality when they rhyme
That's why they write about bricks and only dealt with dimes
Leave it to them, and they say they got a fast car
Nascar, truck with a crash bar, and TV's in the dash, pa
See 'em in the five with stock rims, I just laugh, pa
I catch stunts when I ain't tryin'
I ain't lyin', I sit Dom P till I split up
Keep my rent split up
Get outta line, I get you hit up
Now if you say my name in your rhyme
You better what, watch what you say
You get carried away, you can get shot and carried away
Now here's a list of MC's that can kill you in eight bars
50, umm Jay-Z and Nas
I'ma say this shit now and never again
We ain't buddies, we ain't partners and we damn sure ain't friends
The games you playin', you get killed like that
Actin' like you all hard, you ain't built like that
See me when you see me nigga, oneScream murder!
(I don't believe you!)
Murder!
(Fuck around and leave you!)
Murder!
(I don't believe you!)
Murder, murder!
(Your life's on the line!)
Y'all niggaz don't want no parts of me
I'm tryna figure out how y'all started me
You gon' make me catch you on a late night
Pop shots with the fifth and slide off 50 Cent

Curtis James Jackson III (born July 6, 1975 in South Jamaica, Queens, New York), better known by his stage name 50 Cent, is a Grammy award nominated rapper, actor, singer, entrepreneur, author and founder of the hip hop group and label G-Unit. After leaving drug dealing to pursue a rap career, he released his debut album Guess Who's Back? in 2002. He was discovered by Eminem and Dr. Dre and then signed to Interscope Records. He has since released 2003's Get Rich or Die Tryin', 2005's The Massacre, 2007's Curtis and 2009's Before I Self Destruct.

50 Cent has engaged in feuds with other rappers including Jay-Z, Ja Rule, The Game, Cam'Ron, Fat Joe, and Rick Ross. He has also pursued an acting career, appearing in the semi-autobiographical film Get Rich or Die Tryin' in 2005, the Iraq War film Home of the Brave in 2006, and Righteous Kill in 2008. 50 Cent is one of the richest hip-hop performers, having a net worth estimated at US $440 million in 2008.

Before 50 Cent ever inked a major deal, he built up a substantial fan base in New York through underground mixtapes. 50 Cent met up with Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC and was signed to his label to write all of Jay’s music. After he’d left JMJ, he signed to Columbia Records in 1996. On this label, he released Power of the Dollar, and the singles How to Rob and Ghetto Qu’ran. Columbia Records released him from the label after being shot on May 24th, 2000.

Around this time, Eminem had heard one of 50 Cent’s demo tapes and expressed a huge interest in him on MTV, as did Dr Dre. Shortly after this, 50 Cent officially signed to Interscope Records. He was the first rapper to sign to the joint label owned by Dr Dre and Eminem. The first song he released on this record was entitled Wanksta and was featured on the 8 Mile soundtrack.

In its first week of release, his debut ”Get Rich Or Die Tryin’” sold 872,000 units - easily reaching Gold status. Within the second week it went Platinum (1 mil) and on April 12th, 2004 the RIAA certified it six times Platinum.

In 2005 he followed the success of his album Get Rich or Die Tryin’ with a new release - The Massacre (originally called St. Valentines Day Massacre until the release date was pushed back). The first single released off this, Disco Inferno, was a huge hit - he followed this hit up by the release of Candy Shop and then again with Just a Lil Bit.

In 2003 Interscope allowed 50 Cent to have his own label - G-Unit records. He first signed Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck as the established members of G-Unit. In 2004, Dr. Dre and 50 Cent had signed The Game under a joint venture.
