Growing up in the suburban wasteland of Bucks County PA, she blew her eardrums listening to Crayon, Nirvana, Fugazi, Bikini Kill, Beat Happening, Heavenly, Kicking Giant, and Lois as a teenager. After graduating high school at 17, she moved to Olympia WA and quietly kept the pop scene from entering the graveyard.
