The trio formed in October 2009, when guitarist Jimmy Natividad and bassist Mathew Stokes, two former bandmates of now-defunct melodic pop punk band Capital Eye, decided to continue making music together and bring in their punk ethos to the forefront. It was then they met Kristyne Operzedek, formerly of Sylis Assigned, who was a gifted drummer with a unique style of her own. In June 2011, they brought in an old friend, the ultra talented Doug Emerson of Dynamite 8 / Quite A Mob fame, to play second guitar and solidify a very explosive lineup.
