There are four artists by this name:

1. The Spooks: A late 90's HipHop/RnB-Band, similar to the Fugees. The group recorded "S.I.O.S.O.S., Vol. 1" in 1999 for Artemis Records. The album was a huge success in Europe but hardly made a dent in American markets. After attaining success throughout Europe with their record S.I.O.S.O.S., Vol. 1, Spooks garnered a hit with the single "Things I've Seen" (featured in the Laurence Fishburne film Once in the Life). Water-Water left the group before their second album Faster Than You Know and died in a car accident shortly before the album's release. The group disbanded soon afterwards, with little heard from the members since.

They are probably best known for their biggest UK hit 'Karma Hotel' which received heavy rotation on most commercial radio stations.

In 2009 Ming Xia appeared on Chali 2na's Fish Outta Water. One thing that is a constant across all reviews and comments about this group, is the utterly amazing vocals by the group's lead singer, Ming-Xia. As of 2008-2009, she has recorded some great solo songs that can be found for streaming at her website... www.MingMusik.com

2. Atlanta punk band featuring members of Black Lips, Deerhunter and The Kiwis known for their live performances dressed as ghosts. Death From beyond the Grave LP released on Die Slaughterhaus Records in 2008.

3. A short-lived and obscure late-70s punk/roots rock group from Minneapolis. Released no full-length albums, only a series of 7" singles.

4. A Norwegian hip-hop group started in 1993.
