Like Satellites (Album Version) Lyrics

If you want to fly, well its not that absurd.
If you want to cry we won't breathe a word.
If you want to lie down, well forget what you heard,
Cause we've all got some tables to turn.Hey! How long is in a long time? Hey! You- feeling left behind! Now that all I've got is a picture of then.
Now that then got laid like a ghost to rest.
Now the aliens have been cleared to land don't be alarmed if they cruise up to you,
Lookin' for something to do...Satellites spinning way outta orbit.
Livin' large for the moment.
Life is short but its built to go further than you know.
Spinning way outta orbit, Livin' large for the moment.
Life is short but it takes it's sweet time getting started.(Get Started!)Far out. Far out like satellites to remind you its not that absurd.
If you want to cry we won't breathe a word.
If you want to lie down, well forget what you heard,
Cause we've all got some tables to turn.Singin' Hey!!
How long is in a long time?
Hey!! If you're feeling left behind.Spinning way outta orbit till they learn to control it.
Life is short but it takes it's sweet time getting started.(Get Started!)Far out. Far out like satellites.

Over It is a pop punk band from Orange County, California. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, the band formed in 1998 to play melodic punk rock, and has since developed a more mainstream rock sound with punk roots. Their last effort was released on Virgin Records, but the band and the label have since parted ways. The band, originally a four-piece, started out on Negative Progression Records. After gaining a small but solid fan base, the band was picked up by Lobster Records, on which they released Timing Is Everything in 2002, and Silverstrand in 2005.
