Little Red Book Lyrics

I just got out my little red book
The minute that you said goodbye
I thumbed in through my little red book
I wasn't gonna sit and cryAnd I went from A to Z
I took out every pretty girl in town
They danced with me and as I held themAll I did was talk about you
Hear your name and I'd start to cry
There's just no getting over you, ohh, noThere ain't no girl in my little red book
Who could ever replace your charms
And each girl in my little red book
Knows you're the one I'm thinkin' ofOhh, won't you please come back
Without your precious love I can't go on
It's hard to be, I need you so muchAll I did was talk and talk about you
Hear your name and I'd start to cry
There's just no getting over you, ohh, noOhh, won't you please come back
Without your precious love I can't go on
It's haunting me, I need you so muchAll I did was talk about you
Hear your name and I'd start to cry

There's just no getting over youAll I did was talk and talk about you
Hear your name and I'd start to cry
There's just no getting over you, ohh, noAll I did was talk about you
Hear your name and I'd start to cry
There's just no getting over youAll I did was talk and talk about you
Hear your name and I'd start to cry
There's just no getting over you, ohh, no

Theodore Anthony "Ted" Nugent (born December 13, 1948) (aka "The Nuge", "Motor City Madman", "Uncle Ted" or just plain Ted) is a guitarist from Detroit, Michigan.

He originally gained fame as a guitarist for the The Amboy Dukes, a psychedelic rock band from the late 60's best known for their hit "Journey to the Center of Your Mind". In the 70's he went solo and had a string of hits including "Stranglehold", "Free For All", "Dog Eat Dog", "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" and perhaps his best known song "Cat Scratch Fever".

In the 80's he even tried his hand at acting in a haunting episode of television's "Miami Vice". In 1989, he joined Tommy Shaw of Styx, Jack Blades of Night Ranger, and Michael Cartellone to form Damn Yankees, which produced 1990's chart toppers "Come Again" for Billboard's #1 and rock ballad "High Enough", backed by a string section in the studio and a popular video, reaching #3 on U.S. Hot 100, and #2 on AOR charts. More recently he has gained fame (and notoriety) for his support of hunting and his conservative political views. He is an important member of the NRA (National Rifle Association). He's written four books and released multiple studio albums.

Besides a regular reality type show on cable showcasing Ted's outdoorsman skills, his most recent foray in music was a reality television show SuperGroup that resulted in a band called Damnocracy. The band's other members were Sebastian Bach (formerly of Skid Row), Scott Ian (Anthrax) Jason Bonham ("Bonham", son of Zeppelin's John Bonham) and Evan Seinfeld (Biohazard).

Ted's latest album is titled Love Grenade and was released in 2008.
