Little Red Shoes Lyrics

Jerry Buttler
Little Red Shoes
(ahh ahhh ahhh ahhh ooooo)
From the time that he was born
He meant the world to me
and not so long ago
he sat upon my knee
And as the years flew by
the joy of watching you grow
I knew there'd come a time
when you would have to go
Oh you will always be
a little boy to me
and (bom) at christmas time (bom)

you'll (bom) always find
my love beneath the tree
(ahhh ahhh ahhh ahhhh ooooo)
I'm reminded of the years?
(doo doo doo)
making angels in the snow
(sho-be-do-be-do-do)
childhood memories
(doo doo)
and the little red shoes you wore
And as the years flew by
the joy of watching you grow
I knew there'd come a time
when you would have to go
Oh you (you will always be) will always be
a little boy to me (a little boy to me)
and at christmas time ( ooooooo)
you'll always find (ooooo)
my (oooo) love beneath the tree
doo dooo dooo doo oooooo
ahhh ooooo
When Christmas comes
It's a happy time of year
and I'm looking toward the door
knowing soon that you'll here
oh you (you will always be) will always be
(a little boy to me) a little boy to me
and (aahhhhh ahhhhh ahhhh) at christmas time
Hey I know you'll find (ahhhhh)
my love beneath the tree
Oh, oh you (you will always be) will always be
(a little boy to me) a little boy to me
and (aahhhhh ahhhhh ahhhh) at christmas time
Hey I know you'll find (ahhhhh)
my love beneath the tree
Oh you (you will always be) will always be
(a little boy to me) a little boy to me
and (aahhhhh ahhhhh ahhhh) at christmas time
I know you'll find (ahhhhh)
my love beneath the tree

There are multiple artists called Jerry Butler: 1) Jerry Butler, Jr. (born December 8, 1939 in Sunflower, Mississippi) is an American soul singer also known as "The Ice Man" because of his cool demeanour while singing often intensely emotional lyrics. Butler was dubbed the "Iceman" by a Philadelphia disc jockey while performing in a Philadelphia theater. However, Butler achieved what eluded many earlier Doo Wop groups during the 1950s and 1960s — longevity.
