Lonelier Are Fools Lyrics

I left a guy not far behind
Patched upon a dream in my mind
Sweet lines of worship was my game
Made his love come easy
I cannot sustain
I walked away just looking down
Searching all alone
Lonelier are fools (lonely, lonely)
Just because they know, but never try to chnage it
(never try to change)
Lonelier are fools
Just because they kno-ow
No time to ponder where I've been
When he came, my heart give in
Sweet words of magic was my game
Cast a spell within me

I could never change
He gave me fragments of my past
Now I'm quite alone
Lonelier are fools (lonely, lonely)
Just because they know, but never try to change it
Ohhhhh, oo-oo-ooh (lonelier are fools)
Lonely are fools
Just because they kno-ow
Oo-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
(Lonelier are fools) Lonely are fools
Just because they know, they never try to change it
Lonelier are fools, ooh
Just because they kno-ow, oh-oh
Lonelier are fools (oo-ooh, oo-ooh)
Just because they know, they never try to change it
(Lonelier are fools) So lonely are fools
Just because they kno-ow, oh-oh
Lonelier are fools
So lonely are fools
Just because they know, they never try to chnage it
So lonely, so lonely, so lonely are fools
Just because they kno-ow....

The Three Degrees are a female Philadelphia soul and disco vocal musical group, formed in 1963 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Although it has always had a three-girl lineup, the group has undergone numerous personnel changes, and a total of twelve women have represented the trio so far. The original members were Fayette Pinkney, Shirley Porter and Linda Turner. The trio, tagged by the media as "Prince Charles' favourites", were the first girl group to top the UK Singles Chart since The Supremes in 1964. They are best known for their 1974 million-selling hit, When Will I See You Again.
