Lonely Anywhere Lyrics

Today I packed a bag
No, but you don't know it yet
Guess, it's your turn to get a taste
Of just how quiet this place can getThat clock up on the wall
Don't seem to move at all
When you're home you're never here
The man I love has disappearedOh, why should I waste any more of my tears, my time
When I leave my heart on the line?
I don't know where I'll end up but there's one thing I'm sure of
I could be lonely, I could be lonely anywhereMaybe I'll just drive
Until water is all I see
Sit on the mountainside at night
With only echoes to comfort meI'll miss the love we had
But I've gotten used to that
And if I'm gonna be alone
I might as well be on my ownOh, why should I waste any more of my tears, my time
When I leave my heart on the line?
I don't know where I'll end up but there's one thing I'm sure of

I could be lonely, I could be lonelyOh, why should I waste any more of my tears, my time
When I leave my heart on the line?
I don't know where I'll end up but there's one thing I'm sure of
I could be lonely, I could be lonely
I could be lonely anywhere
