Lonely Cries Lyrics

She hits the ocean every night to dry her lonely eyes
I wipe her lonely cries... She needs a guy who can treat her right
Who can treat her right - yeah treat her right
Late night on the sandy beaches girl hits the coast
and she walks into my world
If you’re a girl with the lonely cries then say “oh oh oh”
Yo girl are you okay why such the lonely face? We just came to say
There’s not a cure for a broken heart
Now see girl take my hand under lonely stars
Now we can walk the beach near the ocean’s surface
Your moonlit face and your beauty’s perfect
I hope you know this - your heart is pure as gold is
You stare at the ocean and time stands still - slow motion
Yo boy let me tell you this cuz if
You break her heart it will go like this
She’ll come down to the coast with the lonely cries and then
I’ll be the guy that’ll treat her right
And then you’ll be all alone say “oh oh”- Like you have never cried before - oh

You know should have not let go - oh, now say “oh oh oh“
Yo girl are you okay why such the lonely face – we just came to say
I hope you know this - your heart is pure as gold is
You stare at the ocean and time stands still - slow motion
No cries for your lonely eyes and no fears no lies when you’re by my side now see
Just put your trust in me
She hits the ocean like every single night after every single fight
She hits the ocean, and I come to her side and I say that it’ll be alright

From Miami to the Keys - It was the trip that sparked the formation of Waverland during the spring of 2007. Long time friends Ryan Kuhnlein and Justin McIver decided to write an anthem for their Florida trip only days before embarking. This song would later come to be known as the title track to their debut album - Visit Our Fascinations. What started out as something that was just for fun ended up being something that everyone of all ages enjoyed.
