Long Hard Lesson Learned Lyrics

A one way ticket is all we need
No return, no guarantee
Straight ahead and don't look back
This train is on a one way trackOh life, it's a precious thing
Dont waste it all worrying
Time thats lost cant be returned
Its another long hard lesson learnedTeach your children not to hate
Hope they learn before its too late
To get rid of the bad laws and keep the good
Save the oceans and the woodsWhen will we all understand
That the futures in our hands?
Once its lost it cant be returned
Its another long hard lesson learnedI can see the writing on the wall
Open up your eyes, y'all and heed the call
When you play with fire, youre bound to get burned
It's another long hard lesson learnedAnother long hard lesson learned
Another long hard lesson learned
Another long hard lesson learned
