Long Road Out of Here Lyrics

It's too late
All the lights are out
All the kids have played
Now I've lost my way, but anywayHeartache and pain baby
I know my name right now
And you're calling me
And I need the ground as my final place
Oh, how you love me anywayIt's a long road out of here
Don't leave the light on
I ain't coming home
You gotta be strongIt's a long road out of here
When you love me like you do
Makes it hard for me to leave youDistance, my friends
It's closer when you reach the end
Between time and space
Oh, I can't erase, anywayIt's a long road out of here
Don't leave the light on
I ain't coming home

You gotta be strongIt's a long road out of here
When you love me like you do
Makes it hard for me to leave youAnd you carry all the weight of the world in your hands
And you're given all my love you never thought you hadAnd all I know to believe it is closing me eyes and all my dreams
But I guess I just want to go on and on
I guess I just want to go on and on
I guess I just want to go on and on
And I guess I just want to go on and onI guess I just want to go on and on
I guess I just want to go on and on
I guess I just want to go on and on

Juliette and the Licks was an american rock band formed in the United States in 2003 by american actor Juliette Lewis. Other band members included guitarist Craig Fairbaugh and guitarist Emilio Cueto, bassist Jason Womack and drummer Ed Davis. Their popular songs include "You're Speaking My Language" and "Hot Kiss". The band broke up in 2009. Juliette and the Licks became a reality when Lewis accompanied Patty Schemel, drummer for Hole, to a Blondie concert and found herself staring at fate. She became instantly inspired by the “live” element of the show and knew it was her calling.
