Long Way Jose Lyrics

There's a bird living in my beard
And if I let it grow down to here
I won't need no clothes
If the wind don't blow
I've been drinking this Cuervo gold like I own half of Mexico
And I don't think that I wanna ever leave
We've come a long way Jose
Eighteen minutes twenty-two hours three hundred twenty-nine days
You taught me to shoot straight my faithful compadre
It's all been one hell of a ride
Just watching those palm trees sway
We've come a long way Jose
It all started when she took off her ring
Laughed at me ha! and gave it a fling right into the sand
Then went off with some man
I got a metal detector I'm ok
Seems a four carat diamond ring goes a long long way
And I'm fine cus I got a credit line

We've come a long way Jose
Nineteen minutes twenty-two hours three hundred twenty-nine days
You taught me to shoot straight my faithful compadre
It's all been one hell of a ride
Just watching those palm trees sway
We've come a long way Jose
You taught me to shoot straight my faithful compadre
It's all been one hell of a ride
Just watching those palm trees sway
We've come a long way Jose
Twenty-one minutes twenty-two hours three hundred twenty-nine days
You taught me to shoot straight my faithful compadre
It's all been one hell of a ride
just watchin those palm trees sway
We've come a long way Jose
